Explore your relationship with your body, mind, and heart. Join us in a silent, directed day-long retreat to delve into mindfulness meditation and the wisdom of silence. Retreat practice allows you to step away from your usual routines and to connect with your innermost self. This is an opportunity to deepen or renew your meditation practice. Participants will be asked to observe silence the entire time except for the end of the retreat when we talk about our experience of the day. You will be led through various meditation exercises including sitting and walking meditations, mindful movement, and compassion meditations. Experience with meditation is recommended but not required. More directions will be sent by email before the retreat. Bring a sack lunch (a fridge is available). Suggested donation: $10-20, to benefit the Senior Center, pay what you can/wish.
