Evening/Weekend Parking Permits

Beginning Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2024, City of Iowa City parking permits for evening and weekend ramp parking will be available for purchase. 

The evening/weekend parking permits will be available for all City parking ramps and assigned for use at a single parking facility. The permits are available at 75% of the cost of an all-day parking permit - $67.50 per month - and can be billed quarterly. Currently, there is no waitlist for evening/weekend parking permits.

Pass information

• The evening/weekend parking permits allow drivers to park in their designated ramp from 4 p.m. to 9 a.m. on weekdays, and anytime Sunday and Saturday.
• On weekdays only, vehicles must exit their designated ramp before 9 a.m. to avoid a Parking Permit Violation ($30).
• Drivers with evening/weekend permits who wish to park in their designated ramp during the daytime, 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., must pay hourly fees by pulling a visitor ticket upon entry and paying upon exit before 4 p.m.
